Anderson Silva - "I'm not the best. I just believe I can do things other people think are impossible."
Fighter : This is a big word, impressive word, a word that can scare a word that can remove all humanity, just a powerful word. This word is used to present an athlete ready to fight his adversary in a cage surrounded by, us voyeurs, shouting to start this fight.
But if we stop for a moment on what happens in this octagon, we immersed ourself in the action and that we opened our eyes, we realize they are more than simple Fighter but humans surrounded with a whirlwind of emotions. This is a real battle raging. Between pain, anger, joy, sadness, respect, honor, humility these two people fight and give everything they have to win this important victory.
These mens and womens work so hard to achieve this sports level and the price is sometimes expensive to afford. But their passions is stronger than anything. It is through this desire that anything is possible and dreams come true. this is a lesson to be learned from these athletes.
For these pictures I want to show the world what these people suffer to reach their dreams. They put their honours into the ring , ready to compete with their opponents and there is no escape for these men and women. They will fight with courage and pride through their own limit, giving a sense to these wholes months of hard work and using their knowledge of fighting. Everything is intense and leaves no room for any errors, as in a game of chess. One moment of inattention and it’s game over ...
I have so much respect for these men and women. Spend time surrounded by these combatants showed me how they are human and courageous. By entering in the cage they know that there is no going back ... they are ready to face this adversary ... this adversary who maybe is inside of themselves ... their own limits, their emotions, their personality ... their soul.
